TASC launches Falek Tayyeb to support Emiratisation

TASC Outsourcing is launching Falek Tayyeb, a recruitment app designed to transform the job-hunt journey for Emiratis while supporting the UAE government’s Emiratisation vision. The platform, set to launch in December 2023, will feature both full-time and part-time roles across government, semi-government, and multinational corporations.

More than 2,000 registrations in two days

TASC announced the initiative at the Tawdeef event, and interest has been immediate. Since the announcement, the company reports receiving over 2,000 registrations from Emirati candidates in less than 48 hours. The platform uses an integrated ChatGPT feature to help users create and update CVs, streamlining the application process from initial registration through onboarding.

According to the company, employers will enjoy a faster hiring process through the app, gaining access to a database of 12,500 Emirati professionals. Job postings on the platform are offered for free.

Data reveals gaps in current hiring

TASC conducted a survey of over 500 Emiratis to inform the launch of Falek Tayyeb. The research led to the creation of a guidebook titled “Making Emiratisation A Success 2023.” The data showed that 77 percent of respondents preferred job portals and sites as their primary channel for employment search, while only 5 percent chose company websites or recruitment agencies.

The survey also highlighted a rise in dissatisfaction with current salaries, indicating a significant divide between Emirati job seekers and the opportunities available to them. This data points to a need for a dedicated platform that bridges the gap between talent and vacancies.

While the platform provides a straightforward interface for job seekers to discover openings that match their qualifications, it also offers upskilling resources to help candidates enhance their skill sets and career goals. The application aligns with the NAFIS Program, which aims to connect the right local talent with the right jobs in the UAE.

For the average Emirati professional, the launch of Falek Tayyeb could simplify the process of finding work that aligns with their aspirations rather than forcing them to handle a crowded market where their preferences are often overlooked. The app focuses on ensuring candidates find roles suited to their skills, potentially reducing the frustration many locals feel when applying for positions that don’t match their career objectives.

Mahesh Shahdadpuri, Founder & CEO at TASC, said the app is an exclusive channel to enter the UAE’s dynamic work environment. He stated that the platform is designed to fulfill the promise of connecting nationals with their dream jobs in their own country.
